During this week's Facebook Live, I made a serene and creative card using the Oceanfront stamp set. I simply love the "scenery" stamp sets created by Stampin' Up. The artistry is amazing and these stamp sets work so beautifully together!
Another wonderful thing about this stamp set is that it doesn't require a whole lot of embellishing; it's a great example of SIP - Stamps, Inks and Paper - standing alone beautifully. One of my favorite ways to create.
In the live video, I share a technique to create the gradient sunset on the horizon. I used Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral inks. I inked the stamp with Crushed Curry, then using a dauber, I added the Calypso Coral to the inked stamp to give dual color with one pass.
Using the Brushed Metal gems, I created little "pebbles" to highlight the green plants.
This was such a fun card to create. I hope you enjoy it.
