Best Butterflies Fun Fold

                                          

Recently, I featured this fun fold for my Facebook Live.  

I knew that I wanted to use something that represented the spring season. And, for me, any chance to use butterflies and I am there.

Besides, I especially have been looking forward to brighter colors and things that represent sunshine and outdoors.  

Drawing off of the colors in the Designer Series Paper, using it as inspiration made designing and color choice really easy.  I knew that I wanted to create this

particular fun fold design.

            

                        

This fun fold is super duper easy and super cute.  It actually stands up and can be used as a display.  I plan on taking this to work and putting it on my desk to brighten up the place.

Simply Fabulous Masking Technique Card

This weeks' Facebook Live project is a SIP of the catalog.  If you have not heard of this, it is  - Stamps, Inks and Paper!  That's it!  It's wonderful when you can use the products to create over and over again with products that you already have on hand.

I am showing the "masking" technique where you can learn how to stamp and still keep white space. Super simple!

And there is nothing like a little coloring therapy.  The flowers are so bold with delicious color with the outgoing 2022-2024 In Colors.

Here is a look at the lovely Simply Fabulous stamp set and project I created.

Speaking of Colors, did you know that the 2021-2023 In colors will be retiring and we will be getting 5 new In Colors?  Also, that Stampin' Up is going to be doing a refresh of the core colors, with some of the retiring colors returning?  It is super exciting.  I am especially hoping that the Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent colors will be returning as core colors.  

I am running a contest over on my Facebook Page.  To enter, all you have to do is comment on the post about the new colors.  Tell me up to 5 current colors that you think may be leaving (In Colors excluded) and up to 5 colors you think will be returning.  I'll do a drawing from the entries and I'll be giving away fun products!

I created this Cute and Simple Fun Fold using the new Cane Weave 3D embossing folder w/Granny Apple Green - a great spring color, I might add!

Warm Welcome Side Step Card

Did you get a chance to see the super cute fun fold card from my 

Facebook Live video?

I made this very cute (easy side-step) card using the Welcome Window stamp bundle in the new Mini Catty and it is (CAT-ty), too! 

The card was inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest (sorry, I can’t remember the name).  I have made this design previously (the easy side step card), but I loved the little cat in the doorway, so this is my version.

There are so many cute features in this bundle, in addition to the 

door and lively sentiments as well!

Ideas Blog Hop Feb 2023 "That's So Suite of You"

Our February, blog hop theme is based on Suites from the catalogs, therefore, this hop is entitled “That’s so Suite of You.” Cute, huh?  I love the product coordination at Stampin' Up.   It's one of my favorite things about Stampin' Up.  The paper, stamps, color coordination in each suite takes the guess work out choosing what goes together.  And often times there are other products that will coordinate as well.  It's just amazing! *heart*

My February contribution features the Regency Park Suite from the new current January - April mini catalog.  I can NOT get enough of the Designer Series Paper and the flower punch. Somehow that Mango Melody just really pops.  Especially with the Night of Navy!  I am a bold colors kinda girl so this one grabbed me from the beginning.  This suite has two different bundles - Sentimental Park and Petal Park.  I chose the Petal Park, which is an image stamp set and challenged myself to create projects that feature images on the front of the projects only.  The Sentimental Park is the other stamp bundle in the suite that contains words.

Beautifully Happy Stamp Set and Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper

 

I have found myself playing quite a bit with the Beautifully Happy stamp set and the lovely Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper from the Saleabration brochure.  I have coupled these lovely products together with some fun fold cards, and the results are stunning. I love them.

I love the color combination in this design. Blue and teal together - fantastic!  Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue are bae! Throw in Fresh Freesia for icing on the cake!

The book binding fold is one of my go to’s. It is simple enough to do it and the result is stately. The Calypso Coral with the Mango Melody as a nice combination. Once again, add Fresh Freesia  to the mix to complete the look. 

And did you notice that flower from the Beautifully Happy stamped image above?

The solid flowers come in three pieces so that the single image can have multiple colors. Phenomenal, right?

The last Fun Fold here is super soft and spring-like.

Once again, the easel Fun fold  is easy to do but impressive.
